What Is Wrong With Me?? Is This What They Call Ocd?

well basically every single day before i go to sleep i have to put make-up on or when i have a bath/shower i need to put make-up after it or i wouldn’t be able to fall asleep. Then in the morning i take it all off & apply it again. I have to put foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner/liquid eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, blush etc.
i told my friend because my sister was like what is wrong with you i;ve noticed that you put make-up on before you go to sleep…your supposed to take it off..
and then i clicked to it…my mates said that its weird but i dont feel that..
what do you think?

You might be OCD or you might have a deep psychological problem, I suggest seeing your GP to get this sorted. If they refer you to a psychiatrist then chances are they can figure it out.

it would depend on wether it’s turned into habit that you have to do, or is it something that causes you stress & worry if you dont do it?

OCD is incredibly serious. Repeating behaviours are normal though. Only when you are COMPELLED to repeat an action & feel as if something really bad will happen if you do not perform the behaviour is it a diagnosable personality disorder.
Most of the time, it’s nothing to worry about – we all have our little quirks. Try not to do it, & if you feel you suffer because you HAVENT done it, go & see your doctor.

    Way too much makeup!
I don’t think you have OCD.
I think you have a complex about your looks & don’t feel happy without makeup.
Can you leave the house without wearing makeup?
If the answer is no then you have your answer.
