if you watched the movie you would see that she is wearing RED lipstick in most scenes…

I am emphasizing my green eyes with black eyeliner & mascara & i personally think my lips look better toned down.
I was wondering if a skin-colored lipstick would look ok & not weird.
Would a light pink look better?
I have lightly tanned skin & light brown hair

I have recently gotten into using Lipstick instead of Lipgloss & I love the “matte” effect that Lipstick gives to my lips. I have pretty much light colours, like Corals, Pinks, etc. But if there is a Lipstick out there that is awesome for tan skin, recommend it please

I’m an 19 year old cross dresser & i have just started cross dressing part time in the privacy of my home. I’m trying to hide my cross dressing activities from my parents because they are strong homophobics. Everytime when i wear womens dresses & skirts & heels & a wig i usually apply makeup onto my face to make myself more beautiful & lipstick on my lips. The question is, how do i wash them off completely so my parents wouldn’t notice that i was wearing make up ?? Can anyone please help me out ? I don’t want them finding out about my alter ego.

I really really want to let go of this pasty lipcolor, but I feel ugly in any darker lipsticks!
Could someone suggest without going too dark what I can try so I can look more classy?

Is there any product out there that can help lighten your original lip color, so that your lipstick’s color can actually show when you’re done applying it? My friend had pretty dark colored lips, but she’s a huge fan of nude color lipsticks. But whenever she tried on a nude color lipstick it would never show on her lips as nude. She’s very lazy, so is there any fast way to lighten her lip color so the lipstick color actually show on her lips when she’s done applying it?

I bought it today but it really dries my lips out.
I always put lip balm over the top of my lipsticks. This is the first colour stay I have ever bought & I just want to make sure none of the stay on effect will be taken away.

Well first of all, my daily chapstick is Softlips.
My lips aren’t super chapped if I don’t use it. But hollister lipgloss dries it out FAST & shows flakes of skin or whatever.
Um, my natural color in the morning IS a pale peachy pink but once i apply chapstick, [any kind of chapstick] it turns .. dark pink. But not red.
Um, I’m looking for maybe a pale peachy pink color. Kind of like this:
I want it to be long-lasting, REAL long lasting, & the color actually shows.

And one that one dry out my lips.

I really dislike make-up & honesty don’t really need to apply any, I have hardly any acne. Sometimes I can go days without one pimple & usually only breakout around my period, & it’s usually only a couple blind ones.
If I do ever wear makeup it’s very, very light… but I prefer to absolutely wear none. I love a red lip though, would wearing red lipstick & no other makeup look alright? I think it looks great on her.http://i37.tinypic.com/dwrj7.png

I recently purchased a MAC frost lipstick (Tanarama is the name of the color) & when I apply it, it makes my lips look very dry & the color sinks into the lines & cracks on my lips. When I had the makeup saleswoman put some on me before I bought it, she used this lip moisturizer sort of thing that made the surface of my lips even & smooth, but it costs $26. Is there anything less expensive out there but has the same function? Also, my lips were very chapped but now they’re a little better. But still the lipstick does not look very neat or clean because it keeps sinking into the natural creases in my lips.

i have quite dark hair, brown eyes & olive coloured skin, i am half filipino & english. Similar is a bit like vanesssa hudgens.

I have tried every shade of pink & I end up looking like a clown! Does having really big lips have to do with it? what color lipsticks do you recommend for a girl with fair skin but with warm undertones (apricot skin tone) but with really big lips? Since I look terrible in most colors =[

okay so im in my teens & I saw the movie Pearl Harbor with Kate Beckinsale in it. I just LOVED how she did her makeup. All she wore was a little mascara & red lipstick. Do you think this shade of lipstick is appropriate?
All i do is i apply chapstick as a base then i outline my lips lightly with a red lip liner. then i just fill it in with the lip liner. & for my eyes all i do is apply mascara to the top lids.

I need a soft color lipstick ( nothing toloud like red ) to wear on my lips. But i don’t know what color to get, nor do i know what brand to buy. So help please. Im 13 & honestly i don’t know much about lipstick. Or makeup of that matter.
