Lipstick Answers

I have the occasional dark circles under my eyes & first tried powder which works well but I have a tan colored lipstick that I tried once. Is this a good idea? It matches my skin tone & hides the dark parts that I don’t want shown.

I have dark brown hair & bright blue eyes, my skin is very fair
generally i wear dark eye makeup & pale lips
however sometimes i like to wear bright lip sticks to stand out
which colours will suit be best?

I wear so much lipstick, i dont go a day without it, sounds stupid but i jsut feel plain ugly if i odnt have anything on my lips.
But is it bad for you to constantly have it applied? Cos obviously u must swallow some & it dissolves into the skin

How do the actress show their lips in natural color or baby pink.. do they use lipstick.. wat kind of product makes their lip appear like that???

Recently i have fallen in love with red lipstick, i’ve fallen in love with the 50s era. Anyway i decided to wear red lipstick today with a nice sweater & jeans & a friend tells me i shouldn’t wear red lipstick because it is trashy on anyone. But i loved how i looked with it. It wasn’t a bright red to say.
Anyway why is red lipstick considered trashy?, i don’t get it almost everyone says it & when i ask them they don’t have anything smart to say.

i dont wear lipstick, but i do wear gloss, & i just discovered teh cover girl lip stain which i love, but idk how to pick the right shade. i want it to be natural looking, for everyday, not for like a night out. but i also notice some shades of lip gloss make my teeth look yellow. can you tell me which of the cover girl lipstain shades would be the best for making my teeth look white? im medium/olive skin, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, basically just italian.

From clothes or carpet?
If the lipstick is on clothes, rub dish washing liquid into the marks. Let sit for 20 minutes. Then launder as usual.
If the lipstick is on carpet, use shaving cream.
Dampen the mark with water. Scrub in some Shaving Cream…any brand is fine as long as it’s white shaving cream. Then clean with damp cloths until the stain is gone.
Shaving cream is nothing but whipped soap that rinses easily. The last thing you want to use on carpet is a sudsy soap…you’d never get the suds out. Shaving cream removes most stains like magic.

I think my lips are too thick, & Ive tried wearing like a bright cherry red but I think it looked a little over the top for me, I don’t want to wear anything that makes me look older either because that usually happens when I apply make up on. I’m only 18 lol I’d appreciate if you could give some tips for my eyes as well. Thank You!!!

As for the lipstick- go with a deep red, but make sure to keep the rest of your makeup very neutral. As for your hair, don’t dye it- you’ll be sorry when you see roots in a month! If you’re really dying for a change, though, why not try a temporary/semipermanent color rinse? that way, you won’t have to re-dye every 4-6 weeks.

you might say “blueberries are blue, that’s why they’re called “blue” berrys.” But they really aren’t. If you buy frozen blue berrys & eat them by hand, you’re lips will be stained of the juice for a day or two. This color is a dark PURPLE, but not violet. What lipstick has this color?

hate the feeling of lip glosse
lip stain is not strong enough to cover my dark lip
and i must say that i can rock any lipstick color

I have yet to find a shade of red lipstick that doesn’t make me look like I’m wearing clown make up. I look good in red clothes but similarly colored lipstick looks bad. I have a yellow undertone to my skin, & red looks too orange, or makes me look washed out.

I forever searching for the perfect nude shade, & can never find one I like. I am after one like Hilary Duff & Ashley Olsen wear, it is a nude, pinky but kinda peachy too, but mainly nude if you know what I mean? Any ideas would be great, thanks so much xx

So about a week ago, I tested out 2 Wet ‘N Wild lipsticks & 1 Hard Candy lipstick. I tried the new Wet ‘N Wild “Mega Last” matte lipsticks in “Just Peachy” & “Think Pink.” I also tried the Hard Candy “Painted Lady” lipstick in “Firewall.”
The thing is, the day after my lips got really dry, cracked, & bloody. They actually were bleeding. Since then, they’ve been bloody & Ive been applying my Rosebud Salve constantly -it usually helps. I’m wondering if the lipsticks could’ve done this & I’m not sure which one it could be since I tried 2 brands!
Have any of you tried the same Wet N Wild lipstick & Hard Candy lipstick & experienced the same thing? Also, what can I do to make my lips soft again?

Go with a very light peachy orangy natural lip gloss that’s very shiny & sparkly.
