Lipstick Answers

I am 21 & dont know how to apply makeup; the only times I have had it is the rare wedding & even then my mom or my sister apply it but I think they do it wrong or they are biased because each time, I cry because I look like a drag queen (to myself at least).
Please do not suggest going to make up counters or stores or salons etc. to learn because I just cannot. I have an anxiety disorder & body image issues, & I simply cannot at age 21 go & ask those beautiful & confident women how to apply lipstick & what in the world is a curler. I swear I would run out crying; I have tried before but I have always chickened out & ran away. I dont even belong on the same floor as those make up counters. This is my mindset so please dont suggest that.
Are there other ways to learn privately? By myself? Where I dont have to rely upon someone else & be embarrassed? Are there books? I love books lol.

if i use lipstick i get sweat around mouth & tip of the nose

in the morning when i do my make up it looks fine but 4 hours later.. my eyeliner is smeared my lipstick came off ugh it makes me so mad. any tips or advice? i can’t buy anything too expensive

Okay so I’m gonna be frank here, don’t all flame me because I’m coming clean. I acknowledge what I did was wrong. I need advice, not insults.
I’m on the beach with a circle of friends, one of the girls there has a red splotch on her bikini ( I don’t know her, friend of another friend). So I start shouting about ‘period girls’ at the top of my voice. Then I got Hannah’s lipstick & wrote -period girl- on the side of her rich mommys convertible. This girl was mortified & starts wailing, then skulks off.
Now my friends are all shunning me & wont return my calls. Apparently this period girl wont come out of her house or something. In my defence I was very drunk & the sun was really hot. What is the best way for me to make up with friends?

my lips are naturally like pink, but i have tan skin. i think it looks AWEFUL. the things i do to make my looks more red is sipping red gatorade & like biting my lips a little with it. im a dude so please dont recommend lipstick or anything like that. i also noticed that whenever i just eat anything, my lips turn redder. & chili peppers also kinda work. PLZ I REALLY WANT SOME GOOD ADVICE ON WHAT METHODS I COULD USE TO MAKE MY LIPS LOOK REDDER ANY TIME I WANT , CUZ SOMETIMES IM IN SITUATIONS WERE I CANT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM REDDER PLZ ANY ADVICE WILL DO , THANX

i dont smoke & i dont drink. i use light lipsticks but my lips r quite dark. any home tips to lighten them. i tried all the lip creams from the stores, cheap & expensive but non of them worked.

Women would have a piece of folded paper to apply lipstick on. They would put the piece of paper to their mouth & close it so that their lips would be stained. How would they get a piece of paper to stain their lips? like where did the colour come from & how was it made?

im 12 & just started to wear make up but i dont want it to seem like im wearing loads of it but still a little. Any tips?

i dont wear lipstick, but i do wear gloss, & i just discovered teh cover girl lip stain which i love, but idk how to pick the right shade. i want it to be natural looking, for everyday, not for like a night out. but i also notice some shades of lip gloss make my teeth look yellow. can you tell me which of the cover girl lipstain shades would be the best for making my teeth look white? im medium/olive skin, dark brown hair, dark brown eyes, basically just italian.

So about a week ago, I tested out 2 Wet ‘N Wild lipsticks & 1 Hard Candy lipstick. I tried the new Wet ‘N Wild “Mega Last” matte lipsticks in “Just Peachy” & “Think Pink.” I also tried the Hard Candy “Painted Lady” lipstick in “Firewall.”
The thing is, the day after my lips got really dry, cracked, & bloody. They actually were bleeding. Since then, they’ve been bloody & Ive been applying my Rosebud Salve constantly -it usually helps. I’m wondering if the lipsticks could’ve done this & I’m not sure which one it could be since I tried 2 brands!
Have any of you tried the same Wet N Wild lipstick & Hard Candy lipstick & experienced the same thing? Also, what can I do to make my lips soft again?

my lips are like a reddish color…..i mean i like my lips & all but i wish they were pink i already tried LIPSTICK & LIPBALM…..give me advice please!!

I have wanted to explore make up for many years. I do x-dress on occasion but I have no clue on how to apply makeup but lipstick & nail polish. please someone help. please leave a message

When I go to a gothic club, I like to look Gothic. So I use pale face powder, deep crimson lipstick, black eyeliner, whitish eyeshadow, black WP mascara. Applying it is a horror, I need over an hour, every mistake shows. But when I leave for the club, with net stockings & a black rose in my dark red hair, I think I look good (for Gothic standards anyway).
An hour later, when I visit the lady’s room in the club, everything is destroyed. The eyeliner on the inner rim of the eyelid is washed away, so you can see the pink behind the lashes. The eyeliner on the eyelid is smeared, mixed with the eyeshadow. The mascara has clumped the eyelashes. The pores on the nose look bigger than before powdering. The lips are the worst. The lipstick is missing from the higher places, but stays in the furrows, so it looks like my lips are bleeding bad.
If you know how to make dark make up last, please help. I can only afford products in the middle price range & no professional treatment.

I don’t like to wear much make up, but in contrast, I feel a bit plain when I go without. My boyfriend really hates make up, & would much prefer it if I went without completely – which is what I have been doing lately, but I feel I want to just.. enhance my complexion & features a little.
I don’t like bright eye shadow, lipsticks or foundation, so I can rule that out – but what can I do with eyeliners, subtle eye shadow or skin moisturiser etc ?

my lips are HUGE & i was thinking, if there are lip glosses that make your lips look bigger, why not smaller?
