Lipstick Answers

I love bright colors to make my eyes pop,and dark to give a mysterious look.I like black mascara better than brown,because black just gives my eyes a quality about them I like.I like pink lipstick & lip gloss,but I also lip stuff that has a red color or tint to it.I don’t really like eyeliner because it make my eyes look really dark,and takes away from my face.Even when I apply a thin line I have a dark look to my eyes!I use powder to give a smooth look to my skin,because I never really liked the pink in my cheeks.Before you give your opinion,I have light skin.My mom says I only have a little color,but if was not for that color my skin would be ivory.I have light brown hair that has blonde streaks in it naturally,and my eyes are light brown.

I have quite oily skin. I use oil control cream before I put on my make-up but during the day it wears off & I end up looking like I have no make-up on anymore. I try to re-apply during the day but It is hard when I am at school.
I have quite sensitive skin & at the moment I use The Body Shop All-In-One-Face base & It works really good but does anyone know any brands (that I can get in the U.K shops ( Boots, Super-drug….)) that cover up oily skin but work really well?

I am going to a party & it is quite posh, I am wearing a black strapless dress with beads on the chest area. I am wearing black tights or no tights. I red lipstick & red nail varnish.I am wearing small pearl earrings & a little earl necklace I am wearing my hair up & my make-up is following a kind of 60’s look. Please if anyone has any idea’s (no matter how rude/mad) can you help me decide how to have my make-up & accessories.

what products do you use? do they work good? do u have any makeup tips or tricks?
what i do: first i use cover girl fresh complection concealer under my eyes & around my nose, then i apply cover girl true blend liquid make-up with a sponge thingy (idk what its called lol!), then i use cover girl blush, then cover girl loose powder, then i use the white shimmer out of the maybelline new york expert wear eyehaddow (it has silver dark grey & white) on the inside corners of my eyes & under my eyebrow, after that i put n.y.c. white eyeliner pencil on my waterline, then i use sonia kashuk gel liner around my whole eye then i curl my eyelashes with a cover girl eyelash curler then finally i use cover girl lash blast mascara & im good to go! lol
thats my tipical routine but i change it up somtimes with different eyeshaddows or liquid eyeliner or some lipstick. i just realized how much cover girl stuff i use! lol so tell me what you like to use! ^_^

im not really into makeup..
but i do use it sometimes..
i was wondering whats the best:
-Eye liner (black)
-Eye shadow (black, green)
-Lipstick (nude)
-Concealer.. (similar colour to laura mercier in nude)
i also prefer the types that you dont need a brush & are very quick to apply….
and the ones you can just throw into ur bag if your in a rush….
and could you give me the colour?
and do they ship internationally?
can you get them somewhere in russia or hong kong?

I need a new foundation, & a powder to seal it in.
right now I’m using “Covergirls Clean Makeup, oil control foundation” & on top, I’ve tried using physcians formula, Clinique superpowder double face makeup, & even the sephora brand mattifying powder.
none of these have seemed to work for me..my skin always tends to look awful, & uneven, even kind of reddish to side of my noses nostril.
What drugstore foundation, (and a powder to go ontop) do u reccomend??
oh I have combo skin..andi’m 15. with some freckles….
ooo & a coverup/concealer would be great to, because i’m using a CG one (its like in a lipstick sort of container..blue).
I want the makeup to last all day, with out starting to look all grosss.

My girlfriend(wife) we are 16 have 2 kids we were stupid at now we are having two work & go to school we are graduating this year. I am going to college starting this summer. We are married but we don’t want a lot of people to know. Our parents & family knows.
Later this week my gf & I are taking a little honeymoon. We need a brake.
So I was able to get a good honeymoon rate at a hotel for 2 weeks. I know the owner & manager. We have lots of stuff planned. But she also wants to put a portfolio together. What she can to with makeup. I volunteered to help her with that. So did my sisters.
So I have to let her put makeup on me. But she does not know a lot about makeup. She knows how to apply it.
My questions are?
I am lucky to have her. I am willing to do anything to help her choose a cheer even if she decides to be a stay a home mom. She has wanted to do this for a while but I was like another time. So now I am. I ruined her life by getting her pregnant. But she still likes me a lot. I need to show her more appreciation .
1. Is this wrong for me to do this?

My skin recently cleared up through medication
- I start with concealer for any spots & allow that to set, then I use a foundation that is a little lighter than my natural skin tone & apply with a brush, then i put powder of the same color to finish it off. Then i use a gold eyeshadow in the corners of my eyes & put that across the lid, then i put black eyeliner on the inside rim of my eye & put liquid eyeliner on the top inside part of my eye, then i put mascara. After i finish my eyes, i put on a little bronzer on the parts of my face where the sun would naturally hit or ill put a little pink blush on top, then i finish with a pinkish/nude colored lipstick & put lip enhancer with gloss on top…
Is there anything i do wrong or could do better

hey ive been told i wear alot of makeup
okay i must admit i used to try loads of makeup styles like flicks & bright glitters
but now i try & go for light colours
im 14 & wear
a foundation which matches my skin & i know loads of people cant apply foundation without going orange lol but i no i dont because ive been told i do my foundation good
i wear mascara, eyeliner on the bottom of my eye , maybe a gold, pink or brown eyeshadow
and most the time i wear a baby pink lipstick or lipgolss
i mainly wear makeup at school lol because if i dont you know how it is you get called a load of names & it doesnt help being pale as people take the mick
so just wondering does that makeup sound like a lot to you

I am getting a smokey pallette anyway, but I wanna know how & where to apply it, & what shade where? I only really know how to do a smokey eye on my eyelid, not around & stuff.
How can I go about highlighting around the face, with blusher & stuff? And what sort of shades? [hopefully not too high end, I'm only a teenager & I need to save up for all this stuff!]
and for the lips…would i need to like put some sort of base, then a nude colour so my lip colour won’t show through? would foundation be alright? & what lipstick & what shade?

Well, those are my features in the pics. I have brown eyes with a speck of amber in them. I find my best colors to be pale blue & purple. Can somebody tell me some good makeup ideas, & if it’s needed, how to apply it. I am 12yrs old & I’m going to seventh grade in Serptember. I want to go to school with confidence. I want to keep a sweet image at the same time as having a little attitude. I don’t wear foundation or blush b/c my cheeks are naturally red it’s almost built in.
I’ve heard that you can tell a girl by her lipstick & so I want my lipgloss to match my attitude which is sweet, caring, funny, but also I can get sorta rude when I get REALLY ticked off but I have a long temper so it takes me a while to get mad. I have no specific brands so I’m up to any makeup.

i apply it correctly so i dont look trashy!!

It’s all “cheating” or “lying” anyway. Why do people bash plastic surgery? If you apply blush to make your cheekbones look more defined, you’re lying to world so they see you as beautiful. If you use lipstick to make your lips look fuller, you’re lying. Makeup is just isn’t permanent. But if you apply it everyday, it make as well be. If you dye your hair a color & keep that color up for years, it’s no different than plastic surgery. You’re just trying to hide and/or fix flaws or things you don’t like about yourself. People who get plastic surgery are just willing to to go the extra mile for a permanent solution rather than having their face washed off at the end of the day. If you’re a redhead & you dye your hair black because it’s a feature you like, it’s no different than someone getting lip implants because full lips is a feature they like. It’s all unnatural when it boils down to it. Shouldn’t people who get plastic surgery not get bashed? They’re not fake. They’re human.

i was just thinking last time i was putting on makeup, “i own far too much!”
I had stuff that i dont even need (like really dark eye shadows & lipsticks that make me look really over done)
so i ve down sized my makeup bag but is this still loads or just enough?

-Eyebrow powder (applied with a little brush just to fill in gaps, i dont totally draw them on)

- 3 lip glosses
I kept a few bright eye shadows for going out & stuff.
What does every one else have?

I never felt so left out for not knowing how to apply makeup until one of my friends told me a “heart wrenching” story about a woman who’s brother had died & she took over care of her young nieces who were half korean. she was so worried because “she didn’t know anything about how to put asian makeup” so she sat them down & tried out a whole bunch of different things until she figured out something.
is it normal for mothers or female guardians to teach there girls how to apply makeup?
i wanted to punch my boyfriend when he pitied me for never experiencing that
i can use lipstick & mascara but that’s it (tried other things but i just cant get the hang of makeup no matter how i try) & i never had female friends when i was younger to go through this supposed “stage” with.

in that picture i am wearing absolutely no makeup
now i wear brown eyeliner on the bottom brown mascara on the top & a little concealer.

well i want to know how to apply makeup to look natural like i was born like that instead of the make up being to visible im only 14 & though i like wearing makeup i don’t like going too far so how can i apply makeup in a way that would make my face look fresh & natural without using foundation most makeup i use is usually some blush, lip gloss or lipstick , eyeshadow & eye liner ?(i don’t always put blush & eyeshadow or liner on ) & if you’ve seen the new teen vogue with dakota fanning the way she looks is really natural & that’s the way i wanna go ( im not blonde though im a brunette if that makes a difference ) i know what make up they used on her but my problem is the right way to apply it & if you know better ways to put on natural looking makeup please tel me thank you

By colors, I mean eyeshadows, blush, & lipstick that would go with my coloring. I usually only wear powder foundation, but I want to change my makeup rountine a bit. Could someone recommend a natural-looking make-up routine?

ok so i have a lot of eyeshadows to work with but i want to stick with my foundation, urban decay primer potion, black eyeshadow, fake lashes, black eyeliner, my mac 217 blending brush & my mac lipstick in lustre [which i want to mattify without buying that product by makeup forever for $20ish].
how do i apply it to make it dramatic?
