Lipstick Answers

I’m trying to find a gloss that isn’t sticky, overbearingly shiny & goopy, but something with a little shine that looks natural & with a hint of color. Something that looks like your natural lip color. I’m hispanic with medium skin…not sure if this helps in the recommendations. Hubby is coming home this weekend & would like to have some lip stuff that will knock his socks off!!
PS: I heard from reviews that Tarte in Flush is a good one. Anyone ever use that one? I bought a sample size, so we’ll see. (I currently use my lipstick as blusher…works great, but would rather have something that is actually for the cheeks)

When I had this red mark on my willie I went to the doctor & he told me to rub it with cotton wool soaked in nail varnish remover & it disappeared immediately. I told my friend ‘cos he’s got a green mark on his. Anyway, it didn’t work so he went to the doctor who said “No it wouldn’t work ‘cos there’s a big difference between lipstick & gonnoreah.”
Any suggestions?

Is there good any good brands of lip stain if there is. What’s the name & the company’s name.Also if you know any lipsticks or lip glosses that stay on as good feel free to mention those.

I’m not really a lipgloss or lipstick person. It just sticks to my hair, & gets in the way, & really pisses me off. Its beautiful, but I dont have the patience to use it. Thats mainly the gloss. But when I’ve tried lipstick, its made the space between my lip & my nose really sweaty. Which is slightly gross, very annoying, & if I try to casually wipe it with the back of my hand, I get a giant pink smudge on it, & my lipstick is then uneven. Yayy…. So, you see why I’m not a fan of the lip products.
Now, even so, I love having colorful lips, so for the past year I’ve been lightly thinking about trying a lip stain. Since I couldnt find the bourjois lip marker, I’ve been thinking benetint. Havent had the chance to try it yet.
Now, I’m unexperienced when it comes to the tint. So, questions:
Does it smudge when you lightly swipe at it?
Does it stick to hair?
Is it similar to lipstick? Or is it more of the effect you get after sucking on a red popsicle? (a nice shade that seems to become temporarily a part of your lips)
Are there any positives/negatives I should know about?

Alrighty, I’m not trying to repeat the last time I went to prom. When I left that night, I used liner under my lipstick to help it stay, but it pretty much ALL came off by the end of the night.
So I’m thinking about using a stain this year, but I was wondering if I should still use liner as kind of a “first line of defense”?

I was thinking about getting a lip stain but I wasn’t quite sure how it worked. I want to go for the natural lip (like one you would want to kiss) but I don’t want it to feel dry to the touch (kiss) like it feels when you use all day wear lipstick (like cover girls outlast all day lip color)
Is it drying to the lips? Does it look natural? What are you experiences with it?? Any help is greatly appreciated!!

my black & white striped shirt went through the wash with my magentaish lipstick & some of it is on the white stripes. any idea how to remove it? i washed it yesterday & it has been a day.

I really need something to put on my lips to give them color.
I don’t like:
Lipstick – too creamy, & comes off after i lick my lip several times (habit) , after i eat, or do anything to my lips & doesnt really look good on me, it takes away the natural shape of my lips.
Lip gloss – Too shiny, sticky, & again comes off fast like lipstick for me.
So i need to know about lip stains what are they, how long do they last, will they last if i keep licking my lips, eating etc? & give a natural look & not look like i have something on, Or if there is a lipstick that is hard matte type so it doesnt come off i know there was something like that from victorias secret which i tried couple years ago it was really hard & it had a white tube on the other side..cant find it anymore & i live in canada so i cant buy it anyways.

if it is a stain, that sounds like what i want. long lasting lip colors, the ones that also come with a gloss… they feel really gross on my lips after a while, like paint, not stain. & they’re impossible to get off when i can’t stand it anymore. i hope there’s an actual stain out there… i want my lips to feel completely bare… i hate lipstick, but i’d like some color so i’m hoping the stain is really stain, & not just a hip new name for the same old stuff…

well my friend & i are having a sleepover & we decided to give each other outrageous makeovers with some of my makeup . we used this red lipstick type stuff & it get all over my carpet. we are having an open house tomorrow since we are selling our house & we need it gone. mom can’t know. do you have any ideas to get rid of it? thanks! we are covering it with magazines.

I absolutely love red lipstick but I have a hard time finding one that really looks good on me. I finally found the perfect red from Rimmel. However; I have a 1 year old son who I love to smother in kisses so I’m looking for a good red stain. I bought Lorac-sheer emotion & I’m not loving it. I want a true red or one that has blue undertones. It HAS to be a stain, can anyone suggest one?

i have a very nice white g star white shirt with a very faded lipstick mark on the arm, but is is visible, i dont really want to wash this shirt again, any ideas. xx

How can i get red lipstick off a graduation sash.

I bought this new stuff on a whim because I loved the color, but now I’m confused on how to use it. It’s liquid, & when I apply it & it dries, it just looks like I put on lip liner & forgot lipstick. If I try to reapply & “fill in the gaps,” it just makes the problem worse.
What am I doing wrong? Is there a different way to apply it?

Someone told me that if you wear lipstick,over time, the color of your natural lips gets drained. Is it true? If it is,I figured it will probably be even more so for lip stain.
