Lipstick Answers

I think she ( the wife*) is losing it. Let me explain, no wait, there is too much, let me sum up:
It started a few weeks ago, our next door neighbor, ( who we will call “Nicki” ) sits for our two boys from time to time. Although she is a college freshman at the local community college, she is usually home during the weekends as part of her probation. So, it works out well for us.
This last time, I offered her a ride home. It was late, very dark, & raining. Even though she lives only about a mile down the road, I felt it was best to drive her. She refused, saying that she really did not mind getting wet & gave me a little wink. I told her I would not hear of it, & told her to get into the car.
When arriving at her house, she told me her parents where on Martha’s Vineyard ( Cape Cod for non-New Englanders) preparing their condo for rental season, & she was alone. After walking her to the door, she said that it was unlocked. She had sworn that she had locked it before she left, & asked me to do a walk through.
Well, I grabbed my .22 from under my seat & did a complete sweep of the house. Nothing was disturbed. Except me that is. While searching her bedroom, I discovered my missing pair of Scooby-Doo boxer shorts, a hair brush, pictures of me from my beach vacation, & my older Drew Bledsoe Patriot jersey that I has sworn I threw in the trash. Needless to say I felt very uncomfortable.
As I was leaving, she “Nicki” gave me a big hug & kiss & thanked me for checking things out.
When I arrived home 45 minutes later, my wife was already at the door. She was not happy. I had not noticed the lipstick kiss mark on my cheek, plus ” Nicki” had already called to “Thank” her again for me checking out her bedroom with my gun.
A night of expected “night out passion” turned into a sleepless night on the couch alone for me. How could something so simple turn into some huge event?
So now in retaliation, my wife* is starting to come up with these little comments like: “Look at those muscles on the bag-boy”, ” Or our friend ‘SC’ is really handsome & sexy”….” Or maybe we should pick up that hitch-hiker, he looks like Ashton Kutcher” blah..blah..blah
And to top it off, she applied for some men’s locker room attendant job at the local community college. Like she needs the money or has any extra time.
So, how do I convince her that this girl just has some silly little crush, & nothing more. Should I rent the movie ” The Crush” with Alicia Silverstone & watch it with her?

Okay, so i have tried a variety of types of blushes ranging from name brands to textures (compressed powder form, to mouse, to lipsticks lol etc) & they always end up blotchy on my skin, some even after application.
I wear Tru Blend by cover girl (whipped foundation).
My skin is normal (not greasy not dry), & i always clean it thoroughly as well as moisturize it (mostly on parts of my face that feel tight after washing eg nose & chin).
Is there a certain way of applying blushes? How can someone avoid patchy blush problems, what to avoid what you’d recommend.

Went 2 the drugstore today & bought red Splat hair dye & put a little of it on one leg. Looks great so far. Has not faded yet. The Halloween party is tomorrow so I plan to paint my whole body tomorrow morning with 2 coats of the dye so that it stays on all day. Won’t put any on my face, I’ll just paint my face with Cherry Color Stay lipstick & a sealant. That should keep me all red for the length of the party. Hopefully I can get this stuff off on Sunday so that I can go to work Monday morning & be my normal color. If I have a little reddish tint,that’s ok. I’ll tell them that I went to a Halloween party & the makeup stained me a little.

With longer hair I feel more feminine; I only wear my hair down for pictures, but it’s usually pulled up into a loose messy bun. I feel pretty, artistic, & very bohemian with long tousled hair.
Then again I think I could pull off a short pixie hairstyle, I as-well think the way shorter cut will be more mature & have an impendent vibe to it & I am very beyond my years even though I’m only seventeen.
Currently my hair is naturally blond & 8/9 inches past my collarbone. I have pale blue eyes/light, & pale skin with a natural glow.
When it comes to my style it’s very simple…..
A deep v-neck or thermal shirt with a vest
Skinny destroyed jeans
Scarves
Barley any jewelry; a four leaf gold clover necklace, small studs in my ears & a monroe piercing that I’m wanting to remove.
I wear no make-up but red lipstick here & there; I like to keep my makeup like the American Apparel models, clean & fresh. I have no acne so that isn’t a problem.
I usually wear boots
I don’t bite my nails & keep them unpainted & usually get a pale pink or sand color on my toes.
I’ve got a round face but a jaw line, & I’m 5″4′ & 135-140 but I’m toned, size 8/9 jean & M shirt.

Or is it a clash of colours?
My eyes are a bright greeny blue, & I also have light brown hair & quite pale skin.
If you could include photos of someone with my colouring wearing red lipstick,thatd be great!

And by hot pink i means its practically neon! Was thinking of just going dark, dark eyes, black bag, black shoes?

I keep reading articles about how it makes them chapped even when nothing’s wrong with them & to just apply lip balm constantly (the problem with that is that my lips get dependent on the lipbalm due to constant application & feeling chapped without it…plus I can’t tolerate the feel of any lip balmstick & that’s why I only use it when I really need to. same goes with gloss & lipstick- I hate how glosses bleed & make my face[especially mouth area] look greasier & lipstick just looks icky & dangerous health-wise).

well basically every single day before i go to sleep i have to put make-up on or when i have a bath/shower i need to put make-up after it or i wouldn’t be able to fall asleep. Then in the morning i take it all off & apply it again. I have to put foundation, eye shadow, eyeliner/liquid eyeliner, mascara, lipstick, blush etc.
i told my friend because my sister was like what is wrong with you i;ve noticed that you put make-up on before you go to sleep…your supposed to take it off..
and then i clicked to it…my mates said that its weird but i dont feel that..
what do you think?

I use shades of brown, but it also depends on your skin tone…i am fair with red hair so the green & brown work well.

well i want to know how to apply makeup to look natural like i was born like that instead of the make up being to visible im only 14 & though i like wearing makeup i don’t like going too far so how can i apply makeup in a way that would make my face look fresh & natural without using foundation most makeup i use is usually some blush, lip gloss or lipstick , eyeshadow & eye liner ?(i don’t always put blush & eyeshadow or liner on ) & if you’ve seen the new teen vogue with dakota fanning the way she looks is really natural & that’s the way i wanna go ( im not blonde though im a brunette if that makes a difference ) i know what make up they used on her but my problem is the right way to apply it & if you know better ways to put on natural looking makeup please tel me thank you

i am starting school next week & i am doing a smokey eye since my shirt is hot pink & black & silver so i was thinking of smokey eyes & hot pink lips but then i thought it was to much. i need your guys help & i don’t want to look like a clown & some smokey eye tips would be great to thank you all for taking your time to read this & leave a answer thanks

I have very pale & sensitive skin. What makeup would go well with this? I have tried Pinks & blue & purple eye shadows. What colors would look good?

This lipstick, mind you, is bright freakin’ red. I’m going to the Rocky Horror Picture Show on Saturday & haven’t quite figured out what color of eyeshadow I should wear. My hair is golden brown & my eyes are green & I have a fair complexion.

I almost never use make up, unless you count lip gloss as one & I really want to start using it for the new school year, 1st year in high school =O
I need lots of help though.
I have fair skin, some freckles, big grey-green eyes, dark eyelashes & medium lips.
What colour of shadows, mascara etc. should I use for my eyes & how much?
I want it to look pretty natural & cute :#)
Also, how do I apply mascara, so there are absolutely no clumps?
And is blush useful?
And I don’t want to use lipstick, so are there any really good lip gloss that come with a bit of a color?
