my lips are naturally like pink, but i have tan skin. i think it looks AWEFUL. the things i do to make my looks more red is sipping red gatorade & like biting my lips a little with it. im a dude so please dont recommend lipstick or anything like that. i also noticed that whenever i just eat anything, my lips turn redder. & chili peppers also kinda work. PLZ I REALLY WANT SOME GOOD ADVICE ON WHAT METHODS I COULD USE TO MAKE MY LIPS LOOK REDDER ANY TIME I WANT , CUZ SOMETIMES IM IN SITUATIONS WERE I CANT EAT OR DRINK ANYTHING TO MAKE THEM REDDER PLZ ANY ADVICE WILL DO , THANX

So about a week ago, I tested out 2 Wet ‘N Wild lipsticks & 1 Hard Candy lipstick. I tried the new Wet ‘N Wild “Mega Last” matte lipsticks in “Just Peachy” & “Think Pink.” I also tried the Hard Candy “Painted Lady” lipstick in “Firewall.”
The thing is, the day after my lips got really dry, cracked, & bloody. They actually were bleeding. Since then, they’ve been bloody & Ive been applying my Rosebud Salve constantly -it usually helps. I’m wondering if the lipsticks could’ve done this & I’m not sure which one it could be since I tried 2 brands!
Have any of you tried the same Wet N Wild lipstick & Hard Candy lipstick & experienced the same thing? Also, what can I do to make my lips soft again?

so you didnt have to write angry messages ,in eyeliner, on your vanity mirror?
EyeLiner doesn’t clean off as easily as LipStick would, by the way.
You’d think it would, but it doesn’t.

My friend told me this, but was she messing with me? And would you need to apply it to your boobs or lips? Has anyone tried this?

For example, if I were given a do-over, my biggest regret by far is one of my Ex’s. I still have nightmares about this one.
Why? Imagine a fat, pig with way too much lipstick caked over it’s face. She loved to slopily eat foul smelling slop. This stuff drips down on her stained blouse from previous meals. She loved to argue & spew large food particles from her mouth why she is better than the rest of us “common” folk.
I would gladly redo that one even over the car accident I got into that almost killed me.

what products do you use? do they work good? do u have any makeup tips or tricks?
what i do: first i use cover girl fresh complection concealer under my eyes & around my nose, then i apply cover girl true blend liquid make-up with a sponge thingy (idk what its called lol!), then i use cover girl blush, then cover girl loose powder, then i use the white shimmer out of the maybelline new york expert wear eyehaddow (it has silver dark grey & white) on the inside corners of my eyes & under my eyebrow, after that i put n.y.c. white eyeliner pencil on my waterline, then i use sonia kashuk gel liner around my whole eye then i curl my eyelashes with a cover girl eyelash curler then finally i use cover girl lash blast mascara & im good to go! lol
thats my tipical routine but i change it up somtimes with different eyeshaddows or liquid eyeliner or some lipstick. i just realized how much cover girl stuff i use! lol so tell me what you like to use! ^_^

The room is dim as the scene flickers to life. The sparse furnishings, a couch, a coffee table, are doubled by their shadows on the nicotine-stained white walls. He moves about anxiously. A drab sage green sofa comes into focus. Cue the lights. The multi-colored flashbulbs sparkle against his raven hair like the yellow kitchen light sparkles against a brand new knife blade just as your abusive husband comes stomping up behind you. The narrow door in the corner slides open, letting in enough sunlight to momentarily ruin the effect. Her red vinyl peep-toe heels ring against the tile as she saunters in, cinematic, black bare-shouldered dress swishing, forcing a smile shaded with lipstick that matches her shoes perfectly.
“Well, hello there,” he greets her. “And who are we today, Miss Bettie Paige?”
“Ha, no,” she dismisses, picking up the low & skinny ruffled hemline of her dress. “Can we get on with this?”
“And why the hurry? It’s only the end of the world, dear.”
“Ha,” she scoffs again.
“Please, do sit down.”
She lights gingerly upon the sofa, crossing her ankles & folding her legs. The thigh-high slit in her dress parts just enough to reveal an alluring degree of porcelain skin. She places the papers on the time-worn table with a mild crash.
“Here it is,” she states, looking up from the papers & shifting her eyes to give him a quick once-over. “Couldn’t you have found something better to wear?”
He peruses his garments, faded jeans, plain black t-shirt, nice new denim jacket. A spark shines in his midnight eyes.
“Playing off your attraction, huh? It’s ok, I won’t tell”
“Ha.” She’s getting good mileage out of that syllable.
“Can I get you anything before we start?”
“No.”
Clickety-hiss, the film begins to roll, their presence etching into the celluloid in seventies home movie sepia tone. He steps through the kitchen door. She crosses her arms with a sigh & looks bored. Her sapphire eyes stare unwavering into the lens as she presses her lips together with impatience. But it does nicely refresh her lipstick. He sits on the other end of the couch & they face each other like morning talk show anchors. Then a lot of silence. They’ll have to try harder than this if they want an academy award. He starts to speak after several empty frames have sped by.
“You know you’re not much less than perfection.” That spark is in his eyes again.
“You know you’re not much less than caustic,” she replies. “Is there any reason for this? Or are you wasting time AND film?”
As if stricken by a sudden inspiration, he rises quickly from the sofa, crosses the room, takes an old rotary telephone out of the closet. He dials carefully, casting his eyes to the tops of their sockets as he struggles to remember a number. He looks as if his life hinges on that number.
“Hello,” he says. “Yes, hello. I am calling to inquire if your services are available today. They are? You can deliver on short notice, right?”
A pondering look crosses her face as she listens intently to the conversation.
“Ok, good,” he continues. “Yes, I’ll have the big value bucket please, extra crispy. And can I get some biscuits?”
She sighs with agitation & leans heavily into the creased cushions.
“May I leave now?” she inquires.
“No, wait a little bit.”
Click. Empty scene. Empty scene. Empty scene. Click again. The room flickers back into focus. He sits alone, on the floor, with the papers she brought strewn about.
He flips through the pages, petting them as if they were a basket of puppies. He pulls a glossy photograph from the middle of the stack. He takes a pair of scissors, cuts out one third of the photo & places it in his jacket pocket, tossing the rest to the floor. The clickety-hiss keeps going. He stares into the lens.
“Damn, the tape is rolling.”

i was just thinking last time i was putting on makeup, “i own far too much!”
I had stuff that i dont even need (like really dark eye shadows & lipsticks that make me look really over done)
so i ve down sized my makeup bag but is this still loads or just enough?

What does every one else have?

I keep reading articles about how it makes them chapped even when nothing’s wrong with them & to just apply lip balm constantly (the problem with that is that my lips get dependent on the lipbalm due to constant application & feeling chapped without it…plus I can’t tolerate the feel of any lip balmstick & that’s why I only use it when I really need to. same goes with gloss & lipstick- I hate how glosses bleed & make my face[especially mouth area] look greasier & lipstick just looks icky & dangerous health-wise).

I never felt so left out for not knowing how to apply makeup until one of my friends told me a “heart wrenching” story about a woman who’s brother had died & she took over care of her young nieces who were half korean. she was so worried because “she didn’t know anything about how to put asian makeup” so she sat them down & tried out a whole bunch of different things until she figured out something.
is it normal for mothers or female guardians to teach there girls how to apply makeup?
i wanted to punch my boyfriend when he pitied me for never experiencing that
i can use lipstick & mascara but that’s it (tried other things but i just cant get the hang of makeup no matter how i try) & i never had female friends when i was younger to go through this supposed “stage” with.

The Happy Hangover
Jack wakes up with a huge hangover after attending his company’s Christmas Party. Jack is not normally a drinker, but the drinks didn’t taste like alcohol at all. He didn’t even remember how he got home from the party. As bad as he was feeling, he wondered if he did something wrong.
Jack had to force himself to open his eyes, & the first thing he sees is a couple of aspirins next to a glass of water on the side table. And, next to them, a single red rose! Jack sits up & sees his clothing in front of him, all clean & pressed. He looks around the room & sees that it is in perfect order, spotlessly clean. So is the rest of the house.
He takes the aspirins, cringes when he sees a huge black eye staring back at him in the bathroom mirror. Then he notices a note hanging on the corner of the mirror written in red with little hearts on it & a kiss mark from his wife in lipstick: “Honey, breakfast is on the stove, I left early to get groceries to make your favorite dinner tonight. I love you, darling! Love, Jillian”
He stumbles into the kitchen & sure enough, there is a hot breakfast, steaming hot coffee, & the morning newspaper all waiting for him. His son is also at the table, eating. Jack asks, “Son… what happened last night?”
“Well, you came home after 3 in the morning, drunk & out of your mind. You fell over the coffee table & broke it, & then you puked in the hallway, & got that black eye when you ran into the door.”
Confused, he asked his son, “So, why is everything in such perfect order & so clean? I have a rose, & breakfast is on the table waiting for me?”
His son replies, “Oh THAT! Well, Mom dragged you to the bedroom, & when she tried to take your pants off, you screamed,’Leave me alone, I’m married!’”
