Lipstick Answers

I have chosen to wear a lilac dress & i have Revlon Eyeshadow quads which has three shade of purple including lilac & a silver colour. How should i apply this eyeshadow & what colour lipstick or lipgloss should i wear?….NB I have a dark complexion as dark as my avatar or slightly darker.

bother you if she pulls out her compact to apply lipstick?
or
do you think it is sexy?

chapstick does not seem to be helping. they hurt & are red (but hey, at least i don’t have to wear lipstick!).

I am 21 & dont know how to apply makeup; the only times I have had it is the rare wedding & even then my mom or my sister apply it but I think they do it wrong or they are biased because each time, I cry because I look like a drag queen (to myself at least).
Please do not suggest going to make up counters or stores or salons etc. to learn because I just cannot. I have an anxiety disorder & body image issues, & I simply cannot at age 21 go & ask those beautiful & confident women how to apply lipstick & what in the world is a curler. I swear I would run out crying; I have tried before but I have always chickened out & ran away. I dont even belong on the same floor as those make up counters. This is my mindset so please dont suggest that.
Are there other ways to learn privately? By myself? Where I dont have to rely upon someone else & be embarrassed? Are there books? I love books lol.

I often try to use concealers to cover the color of my lips, so that I can apply a red lipstick to the very center in a heart shape. However, when I do this, it dries & cracks before rubbing off altogether. How can I cover up my lips so that it looks a bit more natural & lasts longer? I’ve already tried putting chapstick over & under the concealer, so I’m not really sure how I should go about it.

I’m an 19 year old cross dresser & i have just started cross dressing part time in the privacy of my home. I’m trying to hide my cross dressing activities from my parents because they are strong homophobics. Everytime when i wear womens dresses & skirts & heels & a wig i usually apply makeup onto my face to make myself more beautiful & lipstick on my lips. The question is, how do i wash them off completely so my parents wouldn’t notice that i was wearing make up ?? Can anyone please help me out ? I don’t want them finding out about my alter ego.

so i got two of their eyeshadows without even testing them outbecause of the rave on these products. even though these products are soft & pigmented, i find that once it is applied on the eyelid it turns out patch & not pigmented. i got 2 colors that everyone loves & it just would not work. i tried using a base & it still does not work. as for their lipsticks, i find it sooooo creamy that it makes all the small cracks on your lips visible. the only thing i like from their items are their blushes & cream blushes!

WHY? MAKEUP IS SUPPOSED TO MAKE YOU LOOK BETTER! I know how to apply it, but even wearing a little mascara makes my eyes look tiny & weird >:(
and bronzer & blush, forget it, my skin tone doesn’t go well with ANY color
and lipstick is pointless for me, & powder, & everything else argh
But I feel like if I don’t wear it, I’m not considered “womanly”
What is wrong with my ugly face?

I notice the bellas wear lipstick but the other divas lip gloss. Do they apply it or makeup artists?

powder? foundation? lipstick & all that feminine stuff..all i know is i have an eyeliner & some old dark eyeshadows..i have to look neat for some occasion so that’s the main reason.

Well first of all, my daily chapstick is Softlips.
My lips aren’t super chapped if I don’t use it. But hollister lipgloss dries it out FAST & shows flakes of skin or whatever.
Um, my natural color in the morning IS a pale peachy pink but once i apply chapstick, [any kind of chapstick] it turns .. dark pink. But not red.
Um, I’m looking for maybe a pale peachy pink color. Kind of like this:
I want it to be long-lasting, REAL long lasting, & the color actually shows.
* Drugstore please. OR Mac/Sephora.
And one that one dry out my lips.
If you used a certain type of lipstick, whether you disliked or liked it, reviews will be appreciated :]

I really dislike make-up & honesty don’t really need to apply any, I have hardly any acne. Sometimes I can go days without one pimple & usually only breakout around my period, & it’s usually only a couple blind ones.
If I do ever wear makeup it’s very, very light… but I prefer to absolutely wear none. I love a red lip though, would wearing red lipstick & no other makeup look alright? I think it looks great on her.http://i37.tinypic.com/dwrj7.png

when applying foundation. & how do i make my lips look amazing when applying nude lipstick

I would like to know which company is good if I want to purchase cleanser, toner & moisturizer. I have never use them before.
N even for lip gloss, & mascaras.
Is it okay if we just apply lip gloss, & no lipsticks. Or if we apply lipsticks & lip gloss, & no lip liner?
What shade would you for lip gloss, if your skin tone is whitish?

I recently purchased a MAC frost lipstick (Tanarama is the name of the color) & when I apply it, it makes my lips look very dry & the color sinks into the lines & cracks on my lips. When I had the makeup saleswoman put some on me before I bought it, she used this lip moisturizer sort of thing that made the surface of my lips even & smooth, but it costs $26. Is there anything less expensive out there but has the same function? Also, my lips were very chapped but now they’re a little better. But still the lipstick does not look very neat or clean because it keeps sinking into the natural creases in my lips.

I was walking over to Gibby’s house for some foreplay when I saw Spencer standing on the street corner wearing some fishnet leggings, a leopard skirt with 5 dollar bills hanging out the sides, alligator skin high heels, gold hoops & he was applying lipstick. I was about to ask what he was doing, but then a man in a black van picked him up.. I haven’t seen him since last Tuesday.
What was he doing & what should I do?

I always see women waiting for the subway & taking out compact mirrors & touching up their lipstick, which I think it perfectly fine. But what if you’re in a restaurant or at school, is it okay to do it then?
What about powdering your nose? It doesn’t really seem like something acceptable to do in public, but does it really matter? Sometimes in class before the teacher comes in or at (non-fancy fast food) restaurants my friend takes out liquid foundation with brushes & everything & applies it right there… some people give her dirty looks for doing so. lol

ok,so i know this girl (let’s call her Tess)and she showed me some ’signs’ that she’s being messing with my head a lot these last months.
First there are sometimes that when we talk, i feel that she’s leaning more & more to me like if she wats to kiss me or something.Last monday i was standing in the hall & looking at random ppl & she was staring sideways (because i was on her left side) & applying lipstick in a ”flirty” way.There are times that she will touch my hands & stroke me.She also has in her fb interested in section Men & women but i’m not sure if she really means it that way.also one day she was singing at me a song that it’s lyrics say “you know i like you”
Now back to something that happened this week.We were at a club me & some of my girl & guy-friends & Tess was there too.I’m sure she saw me but she didn’t say hi & she was keep talking to a guy friend of mine,while i was standing right in front of him.Then they went to have a drink in the bar i said Hi Tess & she said “Hi Somethin,you look very beuatiful on this dress” & i said ‘’so does this dress make me look that different & you couldn’t recognise me??”asking her indirectly if the reason that she didn’t wave on me was my make up & dress that made me look different & she couldn’t recognise me…but she said again you look very beautiful.After this we were dancing & she was with her friends when i went to have a drink.When I came back i saw her dancing with this guy frinds of mine & she didn’t look at me,but when i was coming to their place she left again.Btw i’m certain that she deosn’t like this guy friend of mine in that way.
